Poetry Corner with Abdoulie Saho: A Frozen Memory

A frozen memory

Sankulay kunda river deserted, frozen now in time
Just a lonely poet, comforted by rhyme
Souls motionless, hands by theirs sides
A fatal accident, claimed lot of souls

Passengers cautioned, suspecting the dead
Not enough resources, for all to escaped
Passengers loaded, fighting their own fear
Becoming much clearer, the end is near

Angels in low tones, devils sharp knives
On the stirring wheel, driver clearing his fog
Burning with anger,  in hells Smokey fear
Reach to the love ones,  holds them so near

Apocalyptic slumber, the driver went asleep
My frozen memories,  now cutting deep
Sunset into heaven, behind a dark cloud
Message to the  bereaved, rest in peace.
