I can’t breath

By Abdoulie Saho
A non fiction, George Floyd  is gone!!

A genuine man and a breadwinner
Leaving behind,  his daughter & wife
Who he promised,  coming home soon

Demons misinformed, a black man haulted
Just 10 or 20 dollar bill, is not worth losing  life
He surrendered,  handcuff and dazzle down
Coperating with no word, yet the police peg  on

Heavily pressed,  ozooing tears and blood
There he lied, seductive and helpless
People gauging, helpless in their shells
The voice getting lower,  “I can’t breath ”

He asked for helped , requesting a sip
All requests turn down,  just because he is black
In that stream , he roared low “I can’t breath ”
Thirsty for oxygen,  to drink up the life

In broad daylight light, treated like a dog
Peripheral on their phones,  busy loading
Being violated and betrayed,  but to no avail
We are one race , despite of our hue
