High cost of ram attributed to Mali- Senegal border closure

As Muslim fateful in the Gambia warm up in calm anticipation for the eid ul adha known as Tobaski scheduled to be marked this weekend, the skyrocketing price of the sacrificial ram is bugging many family members. The PRO of Brikama Abattoir Association Mr. Gibba earlier on Wednesday in an interview with The Digest News, disclosed that the high price of sheep this year is due to the border closure of Mali by Senegalese authority. According Gibba they are facing a lot of challenges this year compared to the previous years.
