Operatives of the Drug Law Enforcement Agency, The Gambia (DLEAG) stationed at Jarra Soma Lower River Region arrested three (3) Senegalese nationals suspected of trafficking illicit drug on Saturday the 20th day of November 2021 and on Sunday the 21st day of November 2021 respectively at Yelli Tenda checkpoint.Salif Sambou a 43year old Senegalese national of Ziguinchor was the first suspect in the net of DLEAG operatives on Saturday the 21st day of November 2021 around 11:30Hrs onwards. He was arrested with one (1) big bundle of suspected cannabis sativa. While the second suspect Cheikh Sene a 23 year old Senegalese national of Dakar Senegal was arrested with three (3) big bundles around 14:00Hrs onwards at Yelli Tenda check point.
The Third suspect arrested was Ebrima Bojang a 28 year old Senegalese national of Ziguinchor who was caught with three (3) big bundles of suspected cannabis sativa on Sunday the 21st day of November 2021 at Yelli Tenda check point.
All three suspects are detained and currently helping operatives in their investigation.
