Mariama Saidy a 22 years old female Gambian and a resident of Busumbala was apprehended alongside Musa Jarra, a 25 years old adult male Gambian by DLEAG’s New Yundum field office. The duo were clutched with twenty six (26) parcels and fifty three (53) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa on the 6 January 2022 around 09:15 GMT onwards at Busumbala, West Coast Region.
Lamin Badjie, a 19 years old student and a resident of Kanilai village was arrested at Bullock checkpoint with three (3) bundles of suspected cannabis sativa. He was nabbed on the 5 January 2022 around 19:02 GMT onwards while onboard a commercial vehicle heading towards Brikama. He is said to have boarded the vehicle Tampoto.
In the Kanifing Municipality, DLEAG’s Kanifing field office took into custody one Alagie Kruma, a 20 years old Gambian residing at Latrikunda German.
He was arrested on the 5 January 202 around 19:25 GMT onwards with two (2) bundles of suspected cannabis sativa at Latrikunda German
All fours suspects are in custody as investigations continue.
