The Gambisara-born businessman Abubacarr Jawara is among the few Gambians nominated for the Heroes Award organized by the Fatu Network. It is scheduled to take place tonight, 17th February 2022.
Hon. Jawara is a renowned international businessman who has raised the Gambian flag in the international community through his business and voluntary diplomatic functions as Consul General.
Back home in the Gambia, his generosity is unquestionable. He has been supportive to the government and people of the Gambia and has in recent years redoubled his support to Gambians in many sectors of development.

With over 15 years of experience in the business sector, Hon. Jawara becomes the first Gambia to establish a Tomato Factory in the country, employing hundreds of Gambians. Other areas of his intervention include his GACH Global Company which is also established in China, Hong Kong, and Angola.
