The people of Yundum were among those severely affected by the heavy rainfall that took place between Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
According to one Edirisa Jarjusey, a resident, they were heavily affected and almost everywhere was flooded.
Jarjusey called on the government, philanthropists and charities in the Gambia to assist them during these trying times.
It’s been reported that over the weekend there has been a heavy rainfall in The Gambia, mostly in the Kombos, which destroyed lots of homes and left so many families homeless.
