One ‘jungler’ who spoke to this paper on the condition of anonymity said he was bribed to accept D200,000 to lie against Major Boye as being a jungler, but he ‘refused.’
Confidential sources have revealed that the arrested Major Malick Boye, has never been a ‘jungler’ as alleged by authorities.
The two people familiar with the matter and who spoke on the condition of anonymity have told this paper that Malick Boye who was arrested in connection with the killing of one Mariam at Hamza Barrack was innocent.
According to them, the police report over the killing of Mariam was available and there was no indication of the major’s involvement.
