The United Democratic Party (UDP) has today donated an amount of D400, 000 to the victims of the fire incident at the Basse market in the Upper River Region (URR).
The UDP leader Hon. Ousainou Darboe and Executive members of his party handed over the donation to the Governor of the region, who, also handed it over to the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) officials.
The Basse market had been engulfed by fire on Monday evening, leaving the victims in a hopeless mood.
