Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of the Gambia, Secretary General and Party Leader of the National People’s Party’s (NPP) has donated two million (D2M) dalasis to the fire victims of Basse market in the Upper River Region (URR).
The Promised promised them a state-of-the-art market for the community of Basse. The president visited the market on Thursday afternoon during his short stay in the provinces, ahead of the weekend. President Barrow is expected to inaugurate the Laminkoto-Passamass road in Saturday.
Earlier, the UDP and GDC parties have donated large sums of money to the Basse fire victims too.
