First case of Corona virus confirmed in Nigeria

Nigeria’s Health minister has announced that the country has confirmed a first case of corona virus disease in Lagos State. A press release from the Nigerian Health Ministry stated that the case, which is confirmed on 27^th February 2020, is the first case to be reported in Nigeria since the beginning of the outbreak in China, in January 2020.

The case is an Italian citizen who works in Nigeria and returned from Milano, Italy to Lagos, Nigeria on 25^th February 2020.
