The Ministry of Defence has on Tuesday announced the redeployment of Lt. Col. Omar B. Bojang as Military Assistant/Principal Staff Officer to the Minister of Defence, Sheikh Omar Faye, a public notice issued by the Defence Ministry stated.
According to the announcement, Lt. Col. Bojang, until his redesignation, was Principal Staff Officer Operations at the Defence Headquarters.

On April 7th, 2020, the Defence Ministry received Lieutenant Colonel Omar B. Bojang as a new addition to the Ministry. The senior officer was posted to the Defence Ministry and appointed as Military Assistant/Principal staff officer to the Honorable Minister of Defence Sheikh Omar Faye.
Lt. Col. Omar B. Bojang was until his redesignation a Principal Staff Officer Operations at the Defence Headquarters. The senior Officer was led to the Office of the Hon. Minister by the Permanent Secretary and accompanied by the Liaison Officer at the Ministry.
