Still under cross examination, prosecution witness (PW2) Ismaila Jarjue reappeared in court today before justice Jaiteh of Banjul High Court.
Representing the first accused person, Counsel Darboe, asked PW 2 Jarjue if he knows the full name of the police officer who approached him (PW2) at the crime scene? PW 2 replied no.
Counsel Darboe went further to asked if he PW2 tried to find out the name.
In his response PW2 said the only thing he was told was the the officer was Inspector Sowe.
“Do you know why he wanted to see you privately?” Counsel Darboe asked. PW2 said no.
At the juncture, PW2 was discharged by the court and case was adjourned to the 14th of November 2023 for the appearance of PW3.
M Faye appeared for the state, Counsel Darboe for the first accused person Ousainou Bojang, whilst H Farage and LK Mboge appeared for the second accused person Amie Bojang.
