A nine-year-old boy has been missing since on Wednesday, 29th December 2021 in Tendaba, Lower River Region.
Family sources say Muhammed Sonko was swimming at the Tendaba Wharf Town on Wednesday, December29, when he got into trouble.
“He has not been seen since then. We are asking the general public, especially those in the coastal areas and residents along the banks of the River Gambia to lookout for any image or object that may stand in and around the water,“ a family member remarked.
He added: “Muhammed was a very promising young man with so much potential and his sudden disappearance left our entire family in pain and sadness.”
Muhammed’s father is Bakary Sonko, also known as Pa Sonko. He’s the program manager, mental health and substance abuse at the Ministry of Health.
