Public Health Officers trained on infection prevention and control and proper use of PPE

The Hon. Minister of Health Dr. Ahmadou Lamin Samateh on Tuesday 4th February 2020 presided over the opening ceremony of the training of Public Health Officers and other Officers at Points of Entry on infection prevention and control and proper use of Personel Protective Equipment (PPEs).
The capacity strengthening programme was supported by the International Organisation for Migration and was meant to build the capacities of Officers on public health Emergency Response especially points of entry.

Similarly, the IOM also handed over some Personal Protective Equipment, computers and printers for data management and as well as other logistics required at the points of entry.
The Hon. Minister of Health thanked the Chief of Mission of IOM for supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Health.
