COVID-19: Brikama North NAM, Councilors Intensify Support to Communities

As the spread of COVID-19 pandemic continues to give nightmare to the globe, the National Assembly Member for Brikama North Constituency, Honorable Alhagie S Darbo in collaboration with his two Ward Councilors, over the weekend began a community outreach and presentation of items to the communities under the patronage of the NAM.

The exercise which started at the Kembujeh Ward was led by the Councilor Alieu K Darboe where the delegation visited the Alkalo of Serrekundanding, Sulayman Badjie and the VDC to briefly sensitize and present them with hand washing bucket and detergents.

Councilor Darboe in a brief remark, pointed out that as elected representatives of the people, they found it necessary to get to the people during this difficult moment saying that the NAM has delegated him and the team to dispatch his message to them over the issue which is a concern to any committed leader.

Momodou Camara, Ward Chairman, Saikouna Sanneh, Kaddy Jammeh both described the presentation as a humanitarian gesture.

Alkalo Sulayman Badjie,  said both the councilor and the NAM are leaders per excellent noting that since assuming leadership, the duo have been playing a pivotal role in supporting their people.

The Alkalo of Kembujeh, Alhagie Bojang, a representative of the Alkalo of Kembujeh Marina, Basheriffo Conteh, Demba Bah, deputising for the Daruhairu Alkalo, Alkalo Alhagie Seedy Nyassi, Alkalo Alhagie Tombong Jawara of Kabafita, Sainey Sidibeh, Donal Taal, Alkalo Samba Bah of Wellingara, Alkalo Landing Bojang of Sotokoi Daru, Alkalo Alhagie Badjie of Bafulotto, Ebrima Sarjo, Alkalo Ebrima Bah of Galloaya, Alkalo Haruna Jarju of Kabafita Layout, Alkalo Ebou Tamba of Kubuneh and Seedy Volley both described the sensitisation and presentation of items as timely.
