On behalf of the members of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) in the country and in the Diaspora, I convey our heartfelt Easter greetings to all Christians as we celebrate Easter of 2020. Easter being a moment of forgiveness, love and prayers, we urge all Gambians to forgive one another and do as much as possible to continue with the good manners that are reflected on during Easter. We asked our Christian community to take the time and pray to God to protect our country from the harm of Covid-19 and make us prevail over the pandemic.
The GDC takes this opportunity to reassure Gambians, that this party, will maintain its course and commitment to equality, progress, peace and prosperity. May God give us the utmost blessings of Easter, open our hearts to be able to accept, love, protect, guide and support one another as a nation, thus embedded in our party motto, ONE GAMBIA-ONE PEOPLE. The GDC wishes all Christians at home and abroad a joyous Easter. Thank you.
