GAMBIA: RESPONDING TO DARBOE IN HIS OPEN SUPPORT TO MANJANG

With due respect Honourable Darboe, you are preaching what you are not practicing! Those of us who are victims of your six months stint as Vice President know you very well and we know you do not care about other children who are of different sway, origin, opinion and inclination from you. We also know you will be very destructive to our civil service as president than all presidents before you. I also know what you say in public and meetings do not add up to what you do in dossiers?

We also know despite the Ombudsman Report October 2018 that indicted Manjang on per diem theft and other office mal practices you still went on to act against the Mandate of the Ombudsman to our great concern. In a government led by you all children will not be equal under the sun. I sit here as your victim, what have I done to you EXCEPT TO EXECUTE A MANDATE THAT WAS VESTED IN ME TO REPRESENT STAFF INTEREST ON THE SSHFC BOARD.

You brought Manjang to SSHFC after he was over six years jobless with no prior experience to handle such coveted role. Look at Manjang’s sex scandal at SSHFC among others and still you decided to back him to this day for only one reason- HE IS YOUR CHILD. Where and how will you be better than Jammeh and Barrow if you are elected? Those of us who are victims of your pen will pray that MAY ALLAH NEVER GIVE YOU THE CHANCE TO LEAD US IF YOU WILL DIVIDE US, IF YOU WILL TREAT US ON OTHER CONSIDERATIONS THAT ARE NOT BASED ON MERIT AND EQUAL FOOTING AND CONSIDERATIONS, IF YOU GOING TO TURN OUR TRUTHS INTO FALSEHOOD?

In a nutshell, I pray, and I pray tonight, and I pray in this Holy Month of Ramadan that MAY ALLAH REWARD EACH ONE OF US BY OUR INTENTIONS, AMEN! PRESIDENT BARROW’S decision to move Manjang was right. MANJANG SHOULD SHOW SOME SEMBLANCE OF RESPECT FOR HIM WITH ALL THAT PRESIDENT BARROW DID FOR HIM, LEAVING HIM IN THAT POSITION WHEN ALL REPORTS POINTED TO THE FACTS THAT HE WAS CULPABLE AND A BIG LIABILITY TO BARROW’S ADMINISTRATION.  In A POST-JAMMEH ERA ANYONE CAN MAKE THOSE FIGURES FOR SSHFC THAT MANJANG IS TRUMPETING. JAMMEH ALONE TOOK THREE (3) BILLIONS GMD OF SSHFC MONEY TO BUY AIRCRAFT AND OTHER INVESTMENTS.

What is Manjang bragging for after SSHFC was created and perfected over 40 years and being a MONOPOLY. Honourable Darboe go to sleep and always remember all the mighty that ever reigned once crumple. Try and unite The Gambia and never divide her children and you can do it but if you fail to it, Allah will punish you. I am your victim and I will forgive you if you ask for it but Manjang should be punished and not celebrated. He told ne in his office that he was powerful but today he is also powerless, and maybe the evil that men do live after them, I pray, Amen!

Honourable Darboe please try and look once again the OMBUDSMAN REPORT OCTOBER 2018 and our petition and other documents on the SSHFC SAGA and ask for forgiveness from your victims. May Allah continue to guide this great nation of ours, Amen! We salute all the voices of reason and truth who spoke, wrote, campaigned to get Manjang out of SSHFC. Bravo you bunch of great Gambians and YOU KNOW YOURSELVES, NO NEED TO MENTION!
