Gambia records 2 new cases of COVID-19

Buba Darboe, programme manager Health Promotion at the Health Ministry has said that the Gambia has recorded two more confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 22.

He said 45 laboratory test results received, out of which 43 are new cases and 39 out of this figure returned negative. He added that two are positive and two are indeterminate and eight new persons have been taken into quarantine.

Mr Darboe made these revelations at the Health Ministry in Banjul on Monday during the daily briefing of the Health officials on the COVID-19.
