Breaking News: Gambia registers 6 new Coronavirus cases

The Gambia has registered six (6) new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, 2nd July 2020, health officials say. The latest figure is the highest number of confirmed cases to be recorded in The Gambia in a single day since the outbreak of the pandemic.

The total number of active cases have now reached 26. The country now has a total of 55 confirmed cases, out of which, are 6 new cases, 27 recovered and two deaths.

Health officials also reported that another 30 new tests were conducted recently. The Ministry of Health further advised the people to maintain social distancing and follow the advice and guidance given by the authorities.
