Breaking News: Gambia records 14 new confirmed cases of COVID-19

The Gambia has registered fourteen (14) new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, 16th July 2020, health officials say. The latest figure is now the highest number of confirmed cases to be recorded in The Gambia in a single day since the outbreak of the pandemic.

The total number of active cases have now reached 41. The country now has a total of 78 confirmed cases, out of which, are 14 new cases, 34 recovered and 3 deaths.

Health officials also reported that another 263 new tests were conducted recently. The Ministry of Health further advised the people to maintain social distancing and follow the advice and guidance given by the authorities.
