Police in Brikama are holding in custody a man who is likely to be arraigned to court for allegedly taking pictures of patients admitted at the Brikama health centre
Staff members of the metropolitan health centre said one Saikou Sarr was caught by Doctor Foday Ceesay of Brikama Health Centre taking pictures of some patients in one of the wards.
According to Doctor Ceesay he was checking on the patient and suddenly discovered Saikou taking a video in the ward. He asked him (Saikou) if the patients were his relatives, he replied no.
Doctor Ceesay added that he called the Officer In Charge (OIC ) and explained the matter to him who questioned him, after which he disclosed that he has been paying Doctors in order to take pictures and videos which he would send to a white lady in Finland, this he further stated is what he does for a living.
‘We then called the police to arrest him with his friend who was with him, his statement was taken and ready to file,’ said Doctor Ceesay.
The OIC has advised the police to take the matter to court tomorrow
