The death has been announced of Hon. Demba Sowe, a member of the GDC party and National Assembly Member for Niamina West Constituency.
Information reaching this medium has it that the Parliamentarian, Hon. Sowe met his untimely death in Morocco, where he was on a private visit.
A senior member of his party, who described Hon. Sowe’s demise as a big loss to the entire GDC and The Gambia, also informed The Digest newspaper online, that arrangements for burial are being made and that, the deceased will be flown back to The Gambia on Sunday or latest Monday.
