However counsel for the 9th accused disagreed with him saying that piece of evidence is unfounded and false.

He was answering to questions put to him by the counsel for the 9th accused Dago Dayoh.

The witness said he worked for the NIA for five years and worked with the accused persons for close to four years, adding that Lamin Lang Sanyang was the medic in charge of the clinic, and works at Serrekunda General Hospital for a part time.

He confirmed to the court that he did not see the 9th accused on 14th April, 2016. He said it is true that on the 14th April, 2016, he worked throughout the night till the early hours of the 15th April, 2016 in the morning. He also agreed that it was his evidence-in-chief that the 3rd accused Saikou Omar Jeng assigned a patrol team to pick up Lamin Lang Sanyang.

Camara further revealed that when Lamin Lang Sanyang arrived, and checked the body of the late Solo Sandeng and confirm him death, the team then put the body in a pickup and an instruction was given to take it to Tanji.

He added that Sanyang was present and he was the one that squeezed the leg of Solo in the pickup.

“I am putting it to you that this piece of evidence is unfounded as he was told to leave before that,” counsel said.

However the witness insisted that was not true. He said the 9th accused went with them to Tanji and even gave them gloves to put to avoid infection. He said he has no cause to compel him to lie neither to conceal the truth of Solo Sandeng’s death.
